To stop calls or texts

Texting back STOP ends text messages. When a partner phones you, say you'd like no more calls; they're obliged to go along with that. If you want us to stop contacting you, send an email that includes your phone number and the email you put on the quote form.

Any partner that has already received your details follows its own privacy policy, so get in touch with that partner too if you want its contact to end. We can tell you which partners were sent your information; just ask.

Questions about your data

Send us an email if you'd like to see what personal details we keep about you, receive a copy, fix something that's wrong, have it erased, or opt out of having it sold or used for targeted ads. Say which of these you're after. Writing from the same email you put on the form, or quoting the phone number from it, helps us pull up the right record. Our privacy policy explains each right more fully.

Things we can't help with

• Buying, changing or canceling a policy: that's done by the carrier or agency that quoted you.
• Claims, payments and renewals: your insurer handles these, using the contact details in your policy documents.
• Which coverage to choose: that's a question for a licensed agent or other insurance professional in your state.
